Talk counselling – any phone or mobile device will work
Text counselling – you can text your therapist using your computer, laptop or mobile device
Most benefit plans include coverage for counselling provided by social workers and psychotherapists. Prior to booking a session, you should inquire with your group benefits administrator if the service you are seeking will be covered. If they don't include psychotherapists ask that they do or ask your employer's HR department to add it to the company's benefit plan. Once your session has been completed, you will receive a receipt which will include the necessary information for you to submit for reimbursement through your employer's group benefits plan.
The cost for a one hour session is $95.00 (plus HST) for video or talk counselling on any device and Unlimited Text Therapy is $29.00 per week (plus HST). Please note that a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a video or phone online session without charges. If less than 24 hours notice is given, or if you miss or forget to attend an appointment with your Hasu therapist, you will be charged and no refund will be given.

Numerous studies have demonstrated that online counselling is just as effective as face-to-face counselling and sometimes even more effective!
“Research suggests that patients report enhanced therapeutic alliance, increased self-disclosure, and decreased stigma with distance services when compared to face-to-face services.”
