Hasu eCounselling™ providers are experienced healthcare professionals registered/certified with their provincial regulatory body.
The providers deliver services on an independent basis and are not employees of Hasu eCounselling. Providers have at least five years’ experience in counselling clients with mental health and substance abuse issues. A Master's degree in Social Work or PhD in Psychology is an asset. Proof of liability insurance, a vulnerable persons police check and references from two former employers are required.
Our provider network has helped clients in large urban areas as well as remote communities including Nunavut. We require that therapists indicate hours of availability on the online scheduling platform.
There is a recurring monthly licence fee which covers software licensing fees to access the portal for video, phone and text counselling; online scheduling program; and listing on the network directory.
Technical training and resources are provided prior to launching your online practice. Compensation is based on the service provided and will be discussed and agreed upon once we have reviewed your application.
While we have been very successful in acquiring clients for our therapists through our marketing efforts, the therapist must also be active and responsible in promoting their own online practice. As such, we cannot guarantee a minimum number of clients in any given month.
