Hasu Provider Network

Caring and Compassionate Healthcare Professionals

Our Therapists

Hasu provides online mental health and substance abuse counselling across Canada. Our therapists are registered with their professional governing body, background-checked and carefully vetted. They are caring and compassionate professionals who provide quality healthcare without judgement. Whatever challenge you may be facing, a Hasu therapist can help. Our network of therapists specialize in everything from stress, depression and anxiety to relationships and substance abuse.

Our therapists are looking forward to helping you find wellness and happiness in your life. Start feeling better today.

Many of our therapists are covered by major Canadian insurers. Submit your receipt for reimbursement.

Funding Available for Victims of Racism

Hasu eCounselling stands side-by-side with the Black community in fighting for equality and justice. We are proud to offer free online counselling for individuals who have been impacted by racism but do not have the means to seek support. If you feel you would benefit from this program, please email m.adams@hasubehaviouralhealth.ca for additional information.

Similar to the way we offer therapy for ‘anxiety’, ‘depression’ or ‘trauma’, we now have a ‘tag’ for ‘Anti-Black Discrimination Damage/Distress’. This is a working tag, as no Canadian therapy company has ever offered direct support to individuals for this topic. There is very little for the recipients of racist treatment navigating ongoing oppression so we want to address that gap - we encourage, invite and welcome feedback from those with lived experience.

Individuals seeking support from Hasu for ‘Anti-Black Discrimination Damage/Distress’ can expect to connect with a therapist who has lived experience and who will help them address/overcome the ongoing effects of racial trauma; this includes rebuilding identity, understanding effects to overall functioning, identifying and challenging unhelpful inherited cultural/relational/thought patterns, dealing with pain/stigma and managing difficult emotions like sorrow, powerlessness, rage and fear (plus, much more). If you feel you would benefit from such support but would struggle financially to pay for our services, please email m.adams@hasubehaviouralhealth.ca

Student Therapist Program

Hasu eCounselling provides an enriching platform for graduate level students completing a university counselling program to develop clinical skills within the areas of telehealth and online therapy. One hour video or phone counselling sessions offered by our student therapists are at a reduced rate of $71.25 (+HST). Unlimited Text Therapy is offered at a reduced rate of $21.75/week (+HST), billed monthly.

All students selected to participate in the Hasu Educational Training Program have acquired sound knowledge in counselling theories and modalities. All of their clinical work is supervised by Darlene Cyrus-Blaize, Ed.D., M.A., RP. an experienced supervisor and Registered Psychotherapist in our Hasu network.

If you are interested in booking a session with a student therapist, please click ‘Book a Session’ and complete an online form that includes terms of service and an intake form. Once you submit your online form, Hasu’s Care Coordination team will respond to you within one business day to assist you in booking your appointment.
